Police on hunt for man who tried to break into Maylands store

POLICE are searching for a man who attempted to break into a Maylands store on June 10.

About 3.30pm, the man used an unknown object to try and open the front, back and roller doors of The Shopfront on Whatley Crescent.

He also tried to break into two vehicles but was unsuccessful.

He is described as light-skinned, between 20 to 25 years of age, medium build with short brown hair and a moustache.

He wore a dark coloured T-shirt with a large ‘8’ on the front and khaki shorts and carried a red backpack.
