Breakthrough in search for missing Lockridge woman

UPDATE APRIL 11: Police have made a breakthrough in the search for missing Lockridge woman Mary Ann Nixon.

They found Mary’s car Wednesday afternoon near Teatree Road in Bindoon. The 69-year-old was last seen about 7am on April 1 in Bassendean.

Police are asking local farmers to inspect sheds and other areas within their properties.

Anyone with information is asked to call  police on 131 444.

EARLIER: Police are seeking the whereabouts of missing 69-year-old Lockridge woman Mary Ann Nix.

Mary was last seen at her Lockridge home about 2pm on Sunday, March 31.

She is described as being fair-skinned, with a medium build, red hair and blue eyes.

Mary may also be driving a burnt orange-coloured Chrysler PT Cruiser registration IGQZ 078.

Anyone with information to help police find Mary is asked to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
