Police seek witnesses to Bayswater train station robbery and assault

MIRRABOOKA detectives are calling for witnesses to a robbery and assault at Bayswater train station last month.

At 1.30pm on Saturday, September 15, a 45-year-old man left the train station and walked towards his parked car on Railway Parade.

As he was getting into his car, a man forced his car door open and removed him from the vehicle.

The victim was punched in the face and his backpack was stolen.

Police have released CCTV footage of the man with whom they want to speak in relation to the attack.

He is 25 to 30-years-old, with dark skin, short hair and a medium build.

He was wearing a black cap, black sunglasses, a long-sleeved orange hi-viz shirt with reflective stripes and dark grey boots.
