Police want information after Malaysian tourists are held up at unpoint in Nollamara

Greig JohnstonEastern Reporter

POLICE are seeking information from the public about an alleged armed robbery in Nollamara on Sunday in which overseas tourists had their baggage stolen.

Just before 8.00pm two Malaysian tourists were on Berkeley Avenue attempting to find their accommodation when they were approached by two men in a four-wheel drive, described as a white Toyota Prado.

A man in the passenger seat got out of the vehicle and pointed what is believed to be a firearm at the tourists.

The man then picked up their suitcases and backpacks, loading them into the vehicle before driving off east on Berkeley Avenue.
