Director Ms Mastrocola said the event promised to be a successful night supporting a worthwhile charity.

‘We are so excited about our Carnaval in Rio night. What better way to raise money for charity than to do it Brazilian-style? They certainly know how to party,’ she said.

‘The night will be filled with Brazilian food, music and entertainment with plenty of chances to win great prizes.

‘We are grateful to have a team of supporters, including Nine news presenter Ebbeny Faranda who will be master of ceremonies on the night, but are always after more donations and sponsorship to help raise money for a fantastic cause.’
