Renowned cheesemaker to host masterclass at Entwined in the Valley

Sarah BrookesEastern Reporter

SWAN Valley cheese maker Tanya Barretto shows home cooks just how easy it is to make your own fresh ricotta at home in less time than it takes to drive to the shops and using just two ingredients.

Barretto fell in love with the art of cheese making after a friend bought a homemade camembert to a dinner party.

After finding classes weren’t available in Perth she to quit her corporate career and has now taught thousands of people how to make their own gorgeous cheeses in their kitchen.

Wine and cheese lovers can join Barretto and champagne and sparkling wine specialist Anja Lewis from Canny Grapes, for a masterclass at this year’s Entwined in the Valley.
