Ride to support sick kids

Staff ReporterEastern Reporter

Mr Cecchele (38) is taking part in the 400km Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Charities Ride for Sick Kids from November 19 to 22.

Riders will travel from Bridgetown to Perth, raising money to build a bigger house for regional families of seriously ill children.

As a father of three, Mr Cecchele said the idea of his own children being ill with cancer was ‘chilling to the bone’ and felt he needed to help families who were not as lucky.

‘Keeping the family unit together when your chips are down is vital and RMH helps with that problem,’ he said.

Mr Cecchele said his workplace, Position Partners in Balcatta, would donate the majority of funds as an advocate of RMH.
