Si si – it’s a celebration

Julian WrightEastern Reporter

Little Italy kicked off over the weekend with a street festival and more Italian-themed fun is around the corner with Italian Live Lounge on February 20 at the Swan Districts Football Club.

Organised by Bassendean resident Nella Fitzgerald, the celebration of Italian culture will feature music and food.

“Throughout history, music has been an integral part of Italian culture, and the traditional music of Italy has long been used as a symbol of this,” Ms Fitzgerald said.
