Strezlecki Group managing director Greg Poland said the additional 3500sq m of retail space at the centre had been acquired through changing the interior layout.
‘The new design will deliver a more streamlined path through the centre, allowing for a better customer experience,’ he said.
The changes will have Farmer Jack’s move into the centre, with Chemist Warehouse already open.
Small bar Two 40 Three has also been given approval to open, which will become Morley’s first small bar.
Mr Poland said the expansion had aimed to allow bigger shops to operate at the centre with sporting, clothing and electrical shops.
‘Coventry Village is expanding to fill a void for the demand of discount shopping north of the river,’ he said.
