Greig JohnstonEastern Reporter

PERTH has taken Nathan, Nat and Shaun into their hearts, and this city is clearly dear to them as well.

Nathan Morris, Natalie Locke and Shaun McManus form Perth’s number one breakfast radio team on Nova 93.7, reaching hundreds of thousands of listeners every week.

The trio is the latest group of “Perthonalities” to throw their support behind Community Newspapers Group’s #SnapPerth campaign.

This week’s theme is ‘show us what you love’ – and Nathan, Nat and Shaun gave us plenty to choose from.

Both Nathan (Kalgoorlie) and Nat (Esperance) are from regional centres, but there is plenty they love about their adopted city.

“I take the dogs down to the river,” Nat said.

“We go down to a dog beach near Point Walter.

“Recently an awesome coffee cart has opened up at the Attadale dog park which is just up the road, so you get a sneaky coffee from Nicola there and take the dogs down the dog beach.

“Everybody’s happy then.”

Nathan, meanwhile, has is more than happy wiling away the hours in a restaurant or café.

“I just love the fact there are so many awesome eateries around,” he said.

“I live in Subiaco at the moment and I’m just loving it.

“On a beautiful warm night just recently they had a little band outside of the Cat Café and I stood there with a bunch of locals and watched it.

“I like how Perth’s getting a lot more cool little bars, a lot more cool little restaurants that you can explore.

“Another great thing to do is look at the street art over in Mt Lawley and Maylands.

“The scene is blowing up and it’s brilliant.”

And for Dockers legend Shaun, it’s all about water.

“I get down as much as I can to the beach,” Shaun said.

“The kids love to take the dog down to the beach at Leighton.

“Bicton Baths is just brilliant.

“It’s the best place to jump off the jetty and do a few ‘bombies’.”
