A BENNETT Springs newsagency is aiming to continue a winning streak after selling its third $1 million ticket in 13 months.
Springs News sold the division one winning ticket on May 29.
The ticket is yet to be claimed.
Owner Milan Vuletich said since he bought the store in 2015, there had been five winning tickets sold.
“We’ve sold three $1 million dollar tickets in just over a year now – in April and November last year and now, last night,” he said.
“We’re for sure in a lucky shopping centre.
“We’re pretty pleased with our track record and hope the good fortune helps one of our locals.
“We are selling them like they are running out of fashion.”
Mr Vuletich said the goal for the rest of 2019 was to sell more winning tickets, such as Set for Life and Thursday Powerball tickets.
Lotterywest spokeswoman Hermione Coleman said there had been six division one winning tickets sold in WA this year.
“OZ Lotto is now at $40 million, so grab a ticket early before the long weekend rush,” she said.
Lotterywest has provided $35,000 to three community groups in Lockridge and Beechboro.
This included the Humpty Dumpty Toy Library in Lockridge receiving more than $9000.
