The awards recognise the highest level of contribution made to the state by people who were born or live in WA.

As well as recognition, winners will receive return airfares and spending money to represent WA overseas as part of the WA Ambassadors Abroad program.

“We’re encouraging people from all over the state to nominate those in the community who are making a difference across any of seven categories,” Celebrate WA chief executive Kevin MacDonald said.
