STIRLING State Emergency Services members sawed through heavy trees uprooted by storm damage at a Dianella home last week.

Two large trees bound together by a “massive” creeper had fallen across a shed roof and pool and blocked access to the house.

Training manager Jude Gliddon said five members attended the 74-year-old man’s house and removed the rubble using a chainsaw, a pole saw and ropes.
