Cook Rhiannon Birch visited the school to teach students how to cook her winning WA Signature Dish ” lupin and za’atar crumbed Dorper lamb cutlets.

The key message of the cooking demonstration was highlighting to the students the super food lupin, which is a legume high in protein, dietary fibre and antioxidants.

It is also low in starch and is gluten- free.

Ms Birch’s recipe recently won the Department of Agriculture and Food’s Buy West Eat Best competition.
