Super Boss Day: Perth employers get into the spirit to help HeartKids

Staff writerEastern Reporter

PERTH employers got into the superhero spirit on Friday , with WA’s inaugural Super Boss Day attracting plenty of support.

The initiative allowed workers to nominate their boss to dress as a superhero for the day, or they can be nominated by friends and family.

Those who took part made a difference to the lives of thousands of WA children with congenital heart disease (CHD), according to HeartKids WA CEO Cecilia Donovan.

“Super Boss Day is a new initiative in WA this year and has been staged with huge success in the Eastern States in years gone by,” Ms Donovan said.

“It’s definitely something a bit different and all about encouraging people to show their lighter side in support of those children and families living with CHD.”

All proceeds raised on Super Boss Day will help fund lifesaving research into CHD, as well as providing vital support services to children and families living with the disease.
