The occupants of the truck stole a road bike worth $5000, damaged other chained electrical bikes and stole money from the tills.

Police and forensics attended the scene.

A WA police spokeswoman said a stolen Mitsubishi canter which drove through the store was still yet to be found and there were four suspects.

“Mirrabooka Detectives would like anyone driving in the area at the time of the incident, who may have dash-cam footage or anyone with any information, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at crimestopperswa.com.au,” she said.

Owner Gary Bell said he received a call about the “ram raid” just after 4am.

“The whole back of the shop is about to fall over, so I don’t know how long for safety reasons that we can stay in the building,” he said.

“They came in and stole some bikes and made a bit of a mess.

“Everything has just fallen over and caused a lot of damage.

“It has been a terrible morning.”

Mr Bell said the damaged wall could be repaired but it would force the store to close for a lengthy period of time.
