Presented by Grey Lantern Productions at Rigby’s Bar and Bistro, the musical is set at Saucy Jack’s space bar, where a serial killer has been picking off cabaret acts by the heel of a sequinned shoe.

Interstellar space cops, the Space Vixens, set out to find the killer.

Tyler said her character Jubilee Climax was “an insane cross between a fierce sci-fi crime fighter and Barbarella”.

“She’s done her years of being shy and used by men, and made the decision to be an ambitious, butt-kicking space queen instead,” she said.

Tyler said Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens appealed to her because of its origins at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1996.

“The show uses quite a bit of audience participation, which is great fun as a performer and a bit more challenging than your standard musical,” she said.

Tyler regularly performs with Playlovers and Roleystone Theatre, and has appeared in several shows including Falling to the Top, Avenue Q and The Great American Trailer Park Musical.

Falling to the Top was also performed at the 2013 Fringe World and won the Artrage Award for best WA theatre show.

Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens will be at Rigby’s Bar on February 18, 19 and 20 and is for people 18 years and over. For more information, go to www.fringeworld.com.au .
