“We are very excited to be recognised for our long journey of school improvement that has resulted in outstanding results for our students,” she said.

“There are many amazing schools that are providing excellent education for students so we know that the competition will be very competitive.”

Ms Doyle said for a small school in Balga, winning the award would be an “amazing achievement” and highlights six years of hard work.

“Warriapendi Primary School not only provides an excellent education but caters for the 46 different nationalities inclusively,” she said.

“We are truly a multicultural community working together to achieve our vision of ‘Developing the Whole Child’.”
