MORLEY Senior High School Year 9 baseballer Tiah Hope has become the youngest player to sign with new Women’s Super League Jets team.
The 15-year-old pitcher, of Morley, recently signed a two-year contract with the Jets after impressing selectors at last month’s open age draft.
She has played four seasons with Morley Eagles and Kelmscott baseball clubs.

She said it was an honour to be one of the 12 players selected in the inaugural Jets team.
“After my two-year contract, I’m hoping to get offered another contract so I will work towards that,” she said.
“I also hope I make the state side again.”
She enjoyed the teamwork behind baseball.
“I like working with other people and getting to meet lots of people,” she said.
The Women’s Super League teams including the Jets, the Force, the Braves, Wanneroo Black, Wanneroo Orange, Swans White, Swans Black, Vic Park Black, Vic Park Red, Carine, Rockingham, Gosnells and South Perth, which will face off between October and February.
Two of those games will be played in the Perth Heat home series on December 1 and January 5.
