A gap too far

However, I too must put in “unfortunate gripes”. One thing that I have complained about to Transperth and to bus companies themselves is bus drivers not pulling right into the kerb.

Apparently when they are trained they are taught to do this; well they do not put it into practice once out on their own.

At times it feels like you are a gymnast going to do the splits trying to get on or off the bus. The alternative is to step down on to the road and then either on or off the bus.

In addition, drivers do not wait to be asked to put the ramp down so that someone with a personal shopping trolley can get on or off the bus: please do it automatically.
