AS a resident of the Town of Bassendean for 13 years, I am excited about the new Bassen-dean shopping centre. It’s way overdue.
However, it is my opinion that angle parking would have been a safer and better option in the top car park.
It seems to me that customers take far too long to reverse out of the bays because a driver’s vision is blocked, especially if there is a car parked next to you.
The implemented one-way is great but could be even better if it was angle parking rather than parallel parking.

I urge Hawaiian to reconsider this issue and introduce angle parking in the top car park.
