Bit perplexed

Staff ReporterEastern Reporter

HAVING recently moved from interstate and into the City of Stirling I am perplexed to find the one generic rubbish bin for everything.

We are in 2013 and in a prominent council area with current knowledge regarding environmental issues and the benefit of minimising waste. Why are we not issued with a recycling bin?

Very conservative estimates have led me to believe that in the whole council area more than one million bottles, cans, cartons, and so forth go into landfill weekly.
