THE City of Bayswater has on its posters and signs the ‘Garden City’.
There is not much of this boasting going on down Stone Street and the Swan river as a developer has stripped acres and acres of bushland to build an housing estate.
I hope the City has made provisions for trees and bushland to be incorporated in the finished product; otherwise, its boast of the Garden City will go down the gurgler.
