Bus solution

Camilla Delmage, CalistaEastern Reporter

It has amazed me that Perth has never had this luxury of being able to board a bus/train after a trip interstate or overseas. Plans for future railways are wonderful but in the meantime can common sense come to the fore?

We already have roads to the airport and we have buses so why can we not rip a few seats out of the buses to allow for luggage racks and then start a service that will take tourists, workers, business people, backpackers and families to and from the airport?

It would be less expensive than taxis and something that most travellers are familiar with and expect when they land at most airports when they travel around the world.
