FORGIVE me if I’m wrong, but I must be missing something.
I thought when a councillor was voted on to council it was to represent all the ratepayers within the council chambers.
Instead, we have a councillor dressing up in a World War I army uniform, grandstanding and using the chamber for his own agenda.
Why was this councillor not reprimanded, disciplined or removed from the chamber?

Let’s hope when this council merges with a larger, more respectful one, we won’t see this discourteous behaviour again. Lift your game Bassendean council.
