I don’t know if it’s the aftermath of the GFC causing all this monetary pain, or I’m just a tightwad, but now at 57 I am remembering how to darn my socks so I get a couple of extra years out of them.
A few years ago when things were better, I just threw old socks with holes away and bought new ones.
Funny how things don’t change; life just goes round in a big circle every 40 to 50 years.
