Just how pure?

Did we the voters get a choice in this? No. Give us a vote on what we want to drink and I’m sure it wouldn’t be treated sewage.

Why, oh why, isn’t it feasible for every new housing estate to install pipes to catch all that precious rainwater that flows from our gutters into the drains, and pump it into a new catchment area?

It saddens me every time it rains to see all of this fresh water going out to sea. Would another dam be out of the question, after all how much of taxpayers’ money is spent on the new desalinisation plant?
