Money deserved

COUNCILLOR Martin Toldo's request reported in last week's edition for funding to have specially designed equipment installed in playgrounds for disabled children as been knocked back because of cost.

And this from a council that not long ago voted to spend $80,000 on street art, i.e. legal graffiti.

I am sure most Bayswater residents would rather have the money Cr Toldo asked for spent on his project and give some pleasure to disabled children.

It is beyond belief if the councillors think otherwise.
