I would like to shout out a loud ‘hooray’ to the Bassendean Station crew.
Recently, on my first attempt to take a newly acquired mobility scooter on the train, I was petrified I would not manage.
Calling on the station office to explain my fears, they asked me to wait a minute and then a lovely lady came out and said “I am coming with you” and she did.
We were met at my destination station and again assisted graciously.
