Opinion: Council should not be involved in marriage debate

Norma Ryan, MorleyEastern Reporter

WE find it beyond belief that the Bayswater Council and other councils spent time at meetings discussing policies and voting on marriage inequality.

What has this got to do with the councils’ duties?

We as ratepayers were never consulted but the council has the audacity to speak on our behalf.

It beggars belief!
