MAYOR John Gangell’s rush to move the town’s War Memorial has resulted in the BIC sandpit, a grassed over former site and the memorial possibly languishing at the council depot.
A more considerate council would have moved our plinth when the new location was ready.
What a sorry situation for Remembrance Day 2014 and the Fallen of Bassendean.
