Too late to erect signs for wildlife protection

WITH the destruction of the Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary wetlands in Bayswater and the subsequent burying of turtles, banjo frogs and other local fauna, I found it quite ironic that for years now only metres away a sign was erected reading: “In case of trapped or injured fauna please contact Environmental Industries on 0434 196 560”.

I think it is too late for that now.
