The crowded Bassendean council meeting on Tuesday with an extended question time highlighted the urgent worries of unsafe roads, unsociable behaviour, threats to local recreation clubs and trees, plus unwanted poor planning in areas usually reserved for families.

There is a way forward. More design staff and project support funding can advance Bassendean such as better transit-oriented development planning and underground services.
