Why move memorial?

Angelika Piantadosi, Eden HillEastern Reporter

This beautiful memorial is at home where it is and serves the town well. What is the purpose of this move?

Would the money not be better spent improving the general appearance of the whole town from Eden Hill to Ashfield?

Jubilee Reserve bushland is so neglected that there are rivers of white bush sand where nothing grows because of the over-use of weedkillers.

Perhaps the money needed for this move would be better spent on the neglected parks of Bassendean.
