CONSTRUCTION has commenced on Rose on Angove in North Perth.

The boutique, five-storey development on the corner of Angove and Fitzgerald streets consists of 39 one and two-bedroom apartments.

Limnios Property Group managing director Irene Limnios said sales had been strong and only nine apartments remained available for sale.

“This quality development is appealing to buyers who want to enjoy the wonderful lifestyle inner-city living has to offer, but at an affordable price,” she said.

“Rose on Angove is in the evolving Angove Street precinct with residents at the development having easy access to a growing number of local cafes, shops, bars and local restaurants.

“At the same time, the CBD is only a few minutes’ travelling distance from the development, which means quick and inexpensive transport costs, especially for property buyers who work in the inner city.”

First-home buyer Mihali Palassis said the location was a key factor in his decision to buy an apartment in the development.

“North Perth is becoming very popular with young people due to the growing number of cafes and restaurants in the area and that will be further enhanced by Rose on Angove, which will have a number of commercial units on the ground floor,” he said.

“I live in Mount Hawthorn so I am very familiar with this area of Perth and I believe it has great potential moving forward.

“Rose on Angove gave me a very affordable entry point into the inner-city area and I believe over time, prices will continue to rise, making it a great investment.”

The location will also give Mr Palassis easy access to the CBD where he works for a legal firm and make it easy for his family to visit him.

Remaining apartments are priced from $450,000 and many have spectacular views of the city due to the elevated position of the site. The development is due for completion in July 2017.
