“To be acknowledged by the real estate industry as leaders in mobile technology underpins the vision of Harcourts as an innovative company with visionary leadership,” he said.

The suite of apps is based on iOS technology and is intended to provide Harcourts staff and their clients with mobile tools to conduct business in real time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“For a sales consultant to be able to sit with clients and have access to relevant for sale and recently sold data, in real time, and conduct interactive listing presentations on their iPad, with digital marketing plans and statistics, is really a game changer,” Mr Toyama said.

LJ Hooker received the Digital Presence of the Year award for the second consecutive year.

Chairman L Janusz Hooker said the company’s success could be put down to its unrelenting commitment to innovation to drive business growth and provide seamless customer experiences.

“An effective digital footprint has never been more important than in today’s market,” he said.

“Although we are doing what we’ve always done, helping our agents build strong profiles in their local area, it’s now with a focus on utilising advanced digital and social strategies to better connect with the modern consumer.”

LJ Hooker also took out the award for best Training & Education Program which acknowledges the network is providing its members with the most effective and diverse training programs relevant to today’s real estate professional.

Ray White was named Major Network of the Year (40 or more offices).

Joint chairman Paul White said the group was humbled to have won the award for the second year in a row.

“I would like to acknowledge and thank our 1000+ franchisees, made up of family businesses stretching from the outback to the ocean, who without their support this award would not have been possible,” he said.

“We are blessed to win this award again, but it goes to all the people who work with us at Ray White.

“It’s no surprise that we maintain and grow our market share by supporting our network.”
