BUYERS can now experience the potential living options at Lendlease’s Waterbank development with the opening of an information centre on Trinity Avenue in East Perth.

They can make exclusive appointments to look at floorplans, renders of the interiors, potential views and an example of the bathrooms, kitchens and living areas that can be installed in the apartments.

The information centre is also close to the Swan River, allowing buyers to get an idea of the waterfront lifestyle that Waterbank will offer.

Lendlease’s development director for the urban regeneration business in WA, David Ockenden, said Waterbank would make the most of its absolute waterfront location.

“With 360-degree views on offer, substantial water views, a western outlook to the CBD and views to Crown and the new Perth Stadium, we expect interest in Waterbank to be strong,” he said.

“The combination of high-quality design attributes of the individual buildings, with considered urban design principles in the master plan, will result in each stage of Waterbank realising increased desirability and value.”

The development is designed to create a sense of place and a high- quality environment for both Perth locals and visitors to enjoy.

The first stage will include retail and residential spaces and deliver significant public space that includes an entry statement, two urban beaches, the Waterbank Square that will become the heart of the precinct, boardwalks, foreshore and bike path areas.

Forty five per cent of the precinct will be dedicated to green space.

The entire precinct is targeting a 5 Star Green Star Communities rating, and the residential buildings are targeting a 5 Star Green Star Multi Unit Residential rating that will add a further point of difference to Waterbank.

“The integration of green building initiatives into mainstream design, construction and operation of all buildings on the Waterbank site will set the project apart from all other developments in Perth.” Mr Ockenden said.

The Waterbank development will cover 6ha and will provide over 900 residential apartments and commercial/retail space up to 20,000sq m.

Stage one of Waterbank is expected to be completed in January 2018 and the first building will include activated retail frontages.
