Perth styling queen’s tips to get best price for your home

Keren BellosEastern Reporter

STYLING is key to selling homes faster and for more in a tough real estate market, according to a staging expert.

Perth Style Co property styling and staging company director Sara James, who has helped agents and developers present properties since 2014, said five of their styled projects were under offer within 10 days of listing last month.

“Our styled homes attract more attention online, which converts to higher traffic at home opens, resulting in fast offers,” she said.

Believe it or not, as humans we respond to colour on a cellular level, so it’s important to make the right decisions when it comes to a colour palette. Focus on a neutral theme with touches of blues, greens, greys and creams.

Go big or go home! Statement art is the best way to create drama, theme or a focal point in any room. Remember this for the entry way and main living – the bigger the better.

Ms James will present a style to sell masterclass on Wednesday, May 1 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
