QUBE Wembley development has finishing line in sight

Natalie HordovEastern Reporter

Sixty five per cent of the apartments at Urban on Cambridge have been sold; about two-thirds of the purchasers are owner-occupiers.

Managing director Mark Hector said many of the buyers already lived in or around Wembley and enjoyed the area’s lively mix of cafes and shops, but were keen to downsize and enjoy more travel and leisure time.

“They don’t want to compromise on the quality of their home or its location close to the city and the beach, but they do want to free up time and money,” he said.

“Buying an apartment at Urban on Cambridge gives them the best of both worlds.

“They can stay in the area they love, but switch to a contemporary, thoughtfully designed apartment that is still spacious and beautifully finished.”

Mr Hector said the project was also proving popular with a number of investors, first- home buyers and professionals.

Urban on Cambridge is the largest of QUBE’s residential projects in and around Wembley and Subiaco, where the company has been responsible for 177 apartments across five developments.

There are 22 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments available, plus four one-bedroom apartments and a two-bedroom, one bathroom apartment, with prices starting from $460,000.

A display apartment allows prospective buyers to see the space and specifications on offer, including the huge balconies, designer kitchens and bathrooms, and the light, bright living areas.

QUBE will be holding an open day at Urban on Cambridge, with a sausage sizzle and tours of the building, on Saturday, August 13 from 1pm to 3pm.
