MAC Homes will host a special event next week to unveil Vertex Apartments in Inglewood.

The development on the corner of Dundas and Walter roads features 16 one- or two-bedroom apartments around a central courtyard.

Priced from $349,000, the apartments offer an affordable urban lifestyle near the cafes, restaurants and other amenities on Beaufort Street and are a short drive from Mt Lawley and the CBD.

MAC Homes sales director Michael Knowles said the site had been vacant for several years and the local council wanted a design that would improve the aesthetic of the area.

“We have created an exciting landmark design that combines blade walls, cantilevered slab edges, vertical windows, low pitch roofs and feature cladding, resulting in an almost ‘digital-age’ structure,” he said.

“With only 16 apartments in total, we were able to ensure unique layouts, meaning residents are able to retain a sense of individuality and choose a floor plan to suit their lifestyle.”

The internal schemes of the one- and two-bedroom options follow the modern and clean design principles of the building’s exterior and the central courtyard has been designed to create a quiet oasis away from the streetscape and naturally-lit apartment entrances.

Each apartment also offers a protected balcony or courtyard for extra living space.

The homes are complete, giving buyers the confidence associated with purchasing a finished product.

“They can walk through the space, examine the finishes and appreciate an environment that is completely resolved from the window dressings through to the landscaping,” Mr Knowles said.

“Not only can owners be confident that their property is in an in-demand suburb with established amenities on the doorstep, the fact that the homes are already built and ready to move into also means there are none of the risks or delays associated with off-the-plan sales.”

Buyers interested in attending the unveiling of the Vertex Apartments on September 15 can register their interest at |www.mac-homes.com.au/vertex-register to receive an invitation with event details.

The on-site event will include a walkthrough of the apartments and preview of “life in Inglewood”, with food and beverages from local businesses.
