A SENIOR quartet of Swan Districts Football Club players has made the 27-man WA squad to face Victoria on May 29.

Swans captain Tallan Ames, key position player Tony Notte, defender Kirk Ugle and dual best-and-fairest winner Matt Riggio made the cut.

Forward Ricky Cary and ruckman-forward Corey Gault were unlucky to miss out.

The squad includes 18 players with previous state game experience and 14 former AFL players.

Reigning Sandover and Simpson medallist Jye Bolton from Claremont, West Perth captain Aaron Black, South Fremantle star Ryan Cook and former Gold Coast Sun Kyal Horsley were also selected in the squad.

WA and Victoria have played 23 times in Melbourne since the first match in 1904 but WA are yet to claim a win.
