BASSENDEAN could spawn a superstar basketball player after 60 students got a lesson from Perth Wildcats players Greg Hire and Jesse Wagstaff.

The children from Bassendean Primary School were given the opportunity to engage in multiple activities that focused on up-skilling their already existent talent.

Hire and Wagstaff took the students through a series of drills that focused on speed, precision and reaction times.

They then had the opportunity chat and have photos with the two fan favourites.

Student Monique Reis said that the incursion made her day.
