Bel beats the boys for media award

Cipriano wrote several articles, including two front-page stories, for the Eastern Reporter highlighting the development of female football players.

This included the success of WA players in the inaugural AFL Women’s Draft, the results of the WA Women’s Football League fairest and best awards, and the progress of the women’s team at Swan Districts Football Club.

Editor Karen Valenti said this was a superb achievement for Cipriano and the company.

‘Bel was up against members of the mainstream footy media, a traditionally male-dominated bastion,’ Ms Valenti said.
