Teams from all states and the Australian Capital Territory competed in the four-day championship in Sydney last month.
The inaugural national competition, named the President’s Cup for mixed players 13 years old and under, was held in 1983 in Adelaide, where the WA team won gold.
Phil Ginsberg donated the trophy and in 1998 it was named after him.
