No phones or tablets will be allowed, except in an emergency.

Participants need to bring their own tent.

V Swans academy high performance and justice manager Shane Beros said the club would like to see 150 people attend the event.

“Overall, the campout allows both father and child to spend quality time with each other in a relaxed camp style setting whilst also enjoying the company of other campers,” he said.

“Swan Districts Football Club recognises the importance of strong and healthy father and child relationships and seeks to facilitate such bonds by providing opportunities to utilise the resources the club has to offer.”

Beros said the club wanted to support families in “building community”.

“We are a football club primarily, however we represent the Swans community and we want our Swans people to feel welcomed and apart of the club which has a significant historical presence in all of the Swan Districts,” he said.
