Players will wear new uniforms to celebrate the milestone.

The club is planning a club day featuring an afternoon tea and dinner at Breckler Park in Dianella on April 6 as part of the season opener.

President Diana Fuller, who has been at the club for 26 years, said it was a wonderful achievement by the members and hard-working committees to keep the club going.

“It feels like time has flown past but it is very exciting and many will feel proud,” she said.

“Some highlights are the introduction of the women’s teams into the club in the ’80s, the progression of our teams into the top-level grades in the early ’90s and the success we had with our junior numbers in the ’90s.

“Another highlight was winning the Most Successful Club trophy three times, with the last time in 2017.”

Ms Fuller said the club had formed a new year 5-6 junior team through the Hookin2Hockey program, which ran in alongside the Eastern Blades, Kalamunda and ECU rangers.

“The team will be a mixed team and we hope the kids and their families enjoy this new experience,” she said.

Training has started for the men’s teams, while the women’s teams and juniors will start in April.
