FORMER boxing champion Danny Green will be returning to a Malaga martial arts gym to give one-on-one training to about 85 people today.

Green will hold two boxing clinics and talk about his Stop the Coward’s Punch campaign, which focused on the one-hit punch violence epidemic, at ATI Martial Arts School.

ATI Martial Arts School director Tony Curtis said Green had been coming to the school for three years.

“There will be about 35 kids in the first session and about 50 adults (who will) get a chance to learn from him,” he said.

“It is a bit of a thrill for most people that are into martial arts or boxing to meet him.

“He is a very good bloke and is very personable and has proven to be a role model in the community with the things he does for kids at Princess Margaret Hospital.”

He said Green would also be hosting clinics to ATI’s Broome branch again next year.

Green’s clinics will start at 6pm in Malaga.
