NPL WA round 3: Perth SC mantains perfect start to title defence

Staff WriterEastern Reporter

REIGNING champions Perth SC maintained its perfect start to the National Premier Leagues WA season on Saturday night at Dorrien Gardens when they defeated one of their title challengers, Floreat Athena, 3-1.

Gustavo Catarcione netted his fourth goal in three games in the first half, before further strikes from Andreas Theodosiades and Niccolo Sabatini either side of Athena’s goal from Kristopher Gate sent Ramon Falzon’s men clear at the top of the ladder.

Falzon was more than happy with the result.
