Perth Glory Soccer Schools a chance to rub shoulders with A-League stars and up skills on school holidays

Bryce ConwayEastern Reporter

PERTH Glory players’ excitement about the World Cup is certain to filter down during the upcoming Perth Glory Soccer Schools program.

Glory keeper Liam Reddy insists diminutive Argentinean talisman Lionel Messi will be the standout performer at the tournament, while defender Alex Grant says Manchester City’s young magician Leroy Sane is extremely unlucky to not make the German squad.

Meanwhile, Belgium is the favourite to lift the trophy according to club captain Andy Keogh.

With the world game set to take centre stage in Russia starting on June 14 at the FIFA World Cup, there is no better time to get involved with the clinics than these July school holidays.

With a qualified and highly experienced coaching team, kids can enjoy their school break outdoors in active environments, learning about soccer and how to lead a healthy lifestyle on and off the pitch.

Each participant will receive Perth Glory giveaways including ticket vouchers for the upcoming A-League season, a water bottle, team poster and more.

On top of all this, there will be a number of player appearances from Perth Glory stars, with kids able to meet, ask questions about the World Cup and grab a photo with their soccer heroes.

The program will be taking place in six locations across Perth, including Subiaco, Carramar, Melville, Mindarie, Perth Hills and Cracovia Bennett Springs, with each clinic running for two days with the potential of being scouted for the Glory Development Centre.

Book your place before spots run out by making the most of the sibling discounts, as well as early bird discounted prices, which close soon.
