BAYSWATER-Morley’s finals hopes are over after the second day of their Premier Cricket Round 13 fixture against South Perth was abandoned.

Friday’s rain across Perth left Richardson Park with a wet outfield, not allowing a ball to be bowled on the second day.

As the Bears already lost on first innings last weekend, the visitors take no points from the game, in a bitter blow.

With other sides low on the table managing five points in abandoned games, the Bears have slid down the ladder to 11th and 22 points outside the top six.

Tough games against Joondalup and Midland-Guildford await to finish off their disappointing season.
